That bubba was goooood, was it good for you?
Well, you have turned three weeks old. Ma ma is bad at writing because I am having so much fun with you. You are just an amazing little baby, You sleep 3-4 hours at a time. You are very strong and can hold your head up already. You have started tracking with your eyes. You are also very smart and do stretches with Da da when he says "Big Stretch!" You had difficulty with breastfeeding, unfortunately we had to start using a bottle. But that's okay. You are still not regular with your poo poo's yet. So these days Da da and I pray for poo poo. You love eating though and sometimes you hold the bottle on your own. You sleep in your bassinet all throughout the night and get up only to eat. You love your swing and rocking with Ma ma and Da da in the recliner. Tomorrow is Easter, so we have lots of visitors coming. Mom mom is coming and Pop and Sandra, he is bringing spaghetti and meatballs, ummm yummy. Da da has been such a big help and lets me sleep when you are hungry at midnight. We are getting ready for the big move. I am sad about having to move because of the wonderful memories here. I am sure we will make even more wonderful memories in a new home. Did I tell you how much you love your bath but hate diaper changes!! I can't believe already how big and more responsive you are getting. Well, I love you sweetie and cherish our time together.

You are amazing

Well, what can I possibly say about you- except that you are amazing. We have been home from the hospital for a few days. we came home on Daddy's birthday 3/19/07. What a special birthday gift you were for him. Coming home on his birthday made him the happiest Daddy in the world, he told me so! It's so nice to be home and to watch you enjoying all your things. We were afraid the dogs barking would startle or wake you but you are completely unfazed by them. You actually seem to like them. Boris was a little afraid of you at first. Mobby hates when you cry and hovers at my feet, anxiously. Mobby just wants to kiss you to comfort you, when you cry. You and I have been through quite the ordeal so we both are a little banged up and trying to adjust to breastfeeding. It's up and down. Some feedings good and some not so good. The VNA nurse is coming today, so that will be good. Well, you are waking up and it's time to eat. I love you peanut.

I got my staples out yesterday and we took a picture of you with Dr. Pegg. He apologized to you for the puncture wound on your head. He kept saying how beautiful you were. I told him that he was a good doctor and we both agreed that we were glad he didn't wait any longer about moving forward with a c-section. He also said he was really happy that everything worked out all right.

She is here....

Rylee was born today at Cape Cod hospital at 8:33pm, weighing 6lbs 13 ounces. She instantly becomes the love of our lives. The first time I saw Rylee, I was moved to tears of joy. It was the happiest moment of my life. I couldn't believe how perfect she was. I kept thinking how surreal it was. In that moment, time stopped and I was truly at peace with pure joy, pride and an enormous amount of love. A feeling I have never known and surely will never forget.

This picture was the first picture of us taken as a family. It was one of the sweetest moments of my life. I remember it so clearly as if it was yesterday. I was so proud that Pat was her Daddy. God could not have chosen a better man for me or a better father for Rylee. We are truly two lucky little girls!

This picture was taken on Rylee's first day home, after her first tubby. It was a favorite picture of mine and then became her birth announcement. I love how her fingers are placed and her beautiful blue eyes are magical.
