ZOOOQUARIUM

Hard to believe a little over a year ago you we were relishing at the fact that you were able to reach your arm out and hit the ladybug and chicky on your overhang toy. Now here we are a year later and you are chasing chickens and geese around the Zooquarium! Wow, does a lot happen in just one year. I had so much fun with you there. You got to hold a sea star a.k.a. starfish. Yes, they officially changed the name because it's not a fish. We learned that! You got to touch a horseshoe crab, a blue crab and a spider crab. You also pet a pig. A goose pecked you and you were not even fazed. You also fed the deer and lamas. We had so much fun. You were so excited you were tapping your feet. Here are just a few pictures from the day.

Deck Fun

Well, we had so much fun yesterday! Put you in your bathing suit and just add water. What a great combination! You had such a blast playing with the water, especially your ducks. You love ducks, and say it all the time. You also love planes and would always notice when one flew by. You would look up in the sky and point and say "plane." You also would say, "Bye bye plane." It was a fun filled time. You also really enjoyed getting in and out of Ma ma's beach chair. I kept pretending that I was so upset that I lost my chair. Then you would get out and I would steal it back and you would pretend to be all upset. It was so funny. I can't believe what a sense of humor you have at just 14 months!

What I didn't expect or plan for, that turned out to be lots of fun is shadow chasing. Thats right, you went nuts over your shadow! You were crawling all over the place trying to chase your own shadow. It was so funny. You were cracking up laughing and having a blast. You were waving to your own hand. You had me laughing so hard I my stomach hurt. You and I both were laughing really hard. You also liked Ma ma's shadow version of a duck. Good times. Here are a few pictures that captured our good time on the deck.

"If you build it they will come"

Come and knock it down that is. Rylee is a little too young to build things and even stacking blocks is not in her forte, yet. She is much more interested in destroying whatever you have just spent hours creating. Sure was a lot of fun to watch though. These are 12 inch by 12 inch foam letter puzzles, after some inspiration from Da da, I created a castle that took up the whole living room... then let Rylee go nuts on it. If was a really great time!!
